Air Fryer Garlic Knots
Pizza dough is used to make air fryer garlic knots, which are then coated with butter and dusted with parmesan. These are a great appetiser for parties or Super Bowl celebrations because they are ready in 10 minutes and extremely addictive!
Ingredients For Air Fryer Garlic Knots
- Refrigerated pizza dough, 13 ounce can
- Six tablespoons of melted butter
- three minced garlic cloves, finely
- One tablespoon of recently harvested parsley
- one-half cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- one-fourth teaspoon of coarse kosher salt
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions For Air Fryer Garlic Knots
- Heat up the air fryer.
- In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, and half of the parsley.
- Slice the pizza dough into 12 equal pieces while it’s still folded up, then unroll the strips. To “double up” the dough and make stunning pull-apart layers, fold strips in half lengthwise.
- Brush the butter mixture over each strip. After tying the strips into a knot, arrange them on a baking sheet and, if desired, season with salt and pepper.
- After the air fryer has heated up, add 5–6 knots and cook for 6–7 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through. Avoid overbaking. As soon as they are finished, brush with additional melted butter and top with parmesan cheese. Serve hot, accompanied by marinara or ranch dip.
Note
- You can make homemade pizza dough if you prefer.
- Work in bunches so as not to fill the basket too full.
- Once cooled, place them in a ziplock bag or airtight container and place them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To Bake: This easy recipe is definitely something you can bake in the oven. After preheating the oven to 400 degrees, arrange the garlic knots on a baking sheet and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
