AIR FRYER LOBSTER TAIL

Lobster tails cooked in an air fryer have a buttery, supple texture and a delectably delicate sweetness. They are perfectly cooked. combined with a tiny bit of lemon and garlic! Learn to appreciate the tasty, tender, and elegantly simple air fryer lobster tails that are ideal for a sophisticated dinner party at home.

Ingredients;

  1. Four tails of lobster
  2. 1/4 cup of butter without salt
  3. One tablespoon of newly squeezed lemon juice
  4. half a tablespoon of finely chopped garlic
  5. 1/4 tsp salt and pepper, to taste, and smoked paprika

Instructions;

  1. Your lobster tails can be butter flyed using kitchen shears. To reach the tail, cut down the middle of the shell’s top.
  2. Next, turn the lobster over, and break each vertebrae between the legs with your thumbs.
  3. Using your fingers, loosen the flesh around the top, bottom, and sides. Pull the lobster meat up gently and place it atop the tail.
  4. Sprinkle paprika, salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Melt the butter in a small bowl and squeeze in the lemon juice and garlic. Remove 2 tablespoons of the butter mixture and set it aside.
  6. Brush the tails with the melted butter, lemon juice, and garlic.
  7. Place the tails in the air fryer basket.
  8. Cook your lobster for 5 to 8 minutes at 380 degrees Fahrenheit, or until the meat is opaque, lightly browned, and the tail is a vibrant red colour.
  9. Serve it with the melted butter that was set aside. Add parsley as a garnish (optional).

Notes;

  • It’s okay if you can only find frozen lobster tails; just make sure they’re thawed beforehand.
  • It’s acceptable to slice through some of the meat when butterflying your lobster; the bottom of the tail should not be cut through.
  • The lobster is a female if you observe that portions of its meat is pinker than other parts of its tail.
  • After five minutes, check the internal temperature of your lobster with a meat thermometer inserted horizontally; when it reaches between 135 and 140 degrees, it’s done.
