Air Fryer Mac and Cheese Balls
These mac and cheese bits from the air fryer are excellent as small appetisers or finger foods. Children adore them!
Ingredients:
- One package (7.25 ounces) of Kraft macaroni and cheese supper mix
- Half a cup of milk
- Four tsp margarine
- ¾ cup of finely shredded sharp Cheese cheddar
- nonstick cooking spray
- two big, beaten eggs
- ½ cup bread crumbs, panko
- ½ cup of bread crumbs with spices
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- One-half teaspoon of powdered garlic
Directions:
- Over high heat, bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Cook the macaroni noodles in the meal package for 7 to 8 minutes, stirring periodically, until it is soft. Empty; do not wash. Put the spaghetti back in the saucepan.
- Add milk, margarine, and cheese sauce from the supper package to the pasta.
- Add the cheddar cheese and stir until it melts and is thoroughly mixed. After transferring the macaroni and cheese to a bowl, chill it for two to three hours, or overnight.
- Form the cold macaroni and cheese into 1 1/2-inch balls and arrange them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. For one hour, freeze.
- preheat air fryer to 350 degrees F(175 degrees Celsius) on the manufacturer’s recommended temperature for an air fryer. Apply nonstick frying spray on the basket.
- Cook for six to eight minutes in the preheated air fryer. After 3 to 4 minutes, flip over and continue to fry until golden brown.
