- Two fillets of white fish (such as flounder, cod, etc.
- a teaspoon of ground cumin
- Half of a lemo
- 2 tablespoons of tahin
- Two tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions:
- In order to prepare the dish, you will need ¼ cup of pistachios, chopped or crushed parsley, chopped chilli flakes, salt, pepper, and oil for cooking.
- Place the onions in a pan that is medium-hot and add a very little quantity of oil. Include a pinch of salt and pepper in the seasoning. The onions should be allowed to simmer until the edges get browned.
- One side of each fillet should be seasoned with cumin, and salt and pepper should be added to taste. Use salt and pepper to season the opposite side of the animal.
- This sauce is made by combining tahini and olive oil in a mixing bowl.
- To ensure that the fish is cooked thoroughly and golden brown, cook it over a medium heat. About two to five minutes on each side. Ideally, you should begin by cooking the cumin side. The length of time required for cooking is determined on the thickness of the fish.
- Fish should be served with the cumin side facing up.
- Apply a quarter of a lemon’s zest to each fillet, and then squeeze some lemon juice over it. The tahini and olive oil combination should be drizzled over. Chilli flakes, salt, and pepper should be added before serving. And finish it off with a garnish of chopped pistachios and a sprinkle of minced parsley.
