Burrata Crostini with Prosciutto and Peaches

Toasted baguette slices are topped with luscious burrata cheese, juicy ripe peaches, and savory prosciutto. Finished with fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil (or balsamic glaze), and flaky salt, it’s a dish that celebrates contrast and freshness.

Ingredients 

1 French baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds

2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

1 ball (200g) burrata cheese, torn gently

2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced (white or yellow)

4–6 slices prosciutto, torn into strips

Fresh basil leaves (whole or torn)

Optional: balsamic glaze, honey drizzle, or lemon zest

Flaky sea salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Toast the Bread:

 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.

Bake for 7–10 minutes, until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.

 2. Assemble the Crostini:

Spread or spoon burrata onto each toasted slice.

Top with 1–2 peach slices and a piece of prosciutto.

Add a basil leaf to each.

3. Finish & Serve:

Drizzle with a bit of olive oil, balsamic glaze, or honey if desired.

Sprinkle with flaky salt and freshly cracked black pepper.

Serve immediately.

Tips & Variations

Grill the peaches:  for extra caramelized depth.

Use nectarines or figs: when peaches are out of season.

Make it vegetarian: Omit prosciutto and add crushed pistachios for crunch.

Add texture: Sprinkle toasted pine nuts or walnuts on top.
