Notes & Tips

Make ahead: Patties can be shaped and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before cooking.

Freeze: Lay uncooked patties on a tray to freeze, then transfer to a bag—cook from frozen.

Crispier patties: Add a bit of grated parmesan to the breadcrumb coating.

Dairy-free version: Use dairy-free cheese or skip the cheese and add a bit more seasoning for flavor.

A: Use gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour alternatives like almond or oat flour.

Q: Can I use another cheese?

A: Yes! Try mozzarella for stretch or feta for a tangy kick.

Q: What dip goes best?
