Ingredients
For the Pasta:
12 oz fettuccine pasta
1 tablespoon salt (for boiling water)
For the Alfredo Sauce:
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 ½ cups heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional, enhances seafood flavor)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (brightens the dish)
For the Crab Meat:
8 oz lump crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)
1 tablespoon olive oil (for warming crab)
For Garnish:
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Cook the Fettuccine
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
2. Add fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
3. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water for later if needed.
2. Make the Alfredo Sauce
1. In a large pan, heat olive oil.
2. Add garlic and saute for 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and Old Bay seasoning. Simmer for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
3. Prepare the Crab
1. In a small pan, heat olive oil .
2. Add crab meat and gently warm it for 2 minutes (do not overcook).
3. Squeeze in lemon juice and stir.
4. Combine Everything
1. Add drained fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat.
2. Gently fold in the warmed crab meat.
3. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it.
5. Serve & Garnish
1.Plate the pasta and garnish with fresh parsley, lemon zest, and extra Parmesan.
2.Serve immediately with garlic bread or a side salad!
