Easy Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

Ingredients

1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp paprika or chili flakes

½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley

¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

Prep Shrimp

Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.

Lightly season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Cook Shrimp

Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

Remove and set aside on a plate.

Make Garlic Sauce

In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add a splash of lemon juice to deglaze the pan and stir.

Combine Everything

Return shrimp to the skillet, toss in the garlic butter sauce.

Sprinkle Parmesan and Italian herbs over shrimp.

Toss well to coat and cook another 1 minute until cheese melts slightly.

Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and an extra squeeze of lemon juice.

Serve hot!

Tips

Don’t overcook shrimp — they become rubbery fast! As soon as they turn pink and curl, they’re done.
