Ingredients

½ cup tomato passata or crushed tomatoes

1 tbsp olive oil

1 garlic clove, minced

½ tsp dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Toppings

½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)

¼ cup cheddar or feta cheese (optional for tang)

½ red bell pepper, sliced

½ yellow bell pepper, sliced

½ red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved

¼ cup black olives, sliced

½ cup mushrooms, sliced

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Dough (if making from scratch):

In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.

Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Cover and rest for 1 hour until doubled in size.

2. Make the Sauce:

In a pan, heat olive oil. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

Add tomato passata, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened. Set aside.

3. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

4. Assemble the Pizza:

Roll out the dough into a 10–12 inch round on a floured surface.

Place it on a baking tray or pizza stone.

Spread the sauce evenly.

Add cheese first, then all the veggies evenly on top.

Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
