Ingredients

For the chicken:

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

3 tbsp olive oil

Juice of 1 lemon

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp ground cumin

Salt & pepper, to taste

For the garlic sauce:

½ cup Greek yogurt

2 tbsp mayonnaise

2 cloves garlic, finely minced

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt & pepper, to taste

For the wraps:

4 pita breads or flatbreads

1 cup shredded lettuce or baby spinach

1 tomato, thinly sliced

1 small cucumber, sliced

¼ red onion, thinly sliced

Optional: crumbled feta & fresh parsley

Instructions

Marinate chicken: In a bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken, coat well, and marinate at least 30 min (or up to 4 hours in the fridge).

Make garlic sauce: Mix yogurt, mayo (if using), garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste. Chill until ready.

Cook chicken: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high. Cook chicken 5–6 min per side (depending on thickness) until golden and cooked through. Slice into strips.

Assemble wraps: Warm pita bread. Spread garlic sauce, layer with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and chicken strips. Add feta & parsley if desired.

Serve: Fold and enjoy warm!
