HEALTHY AIR FRYER CHICKEN AND VEGGIES
This flavorful and easy-to-make dish for air fryer chicken and veggies is packed with nutrition. In less than 20 minutes, it becomes a full and nutritious keto or low-carb dinner!
One pound of bite-sized chunks of diced chicken breast (2–3 medium chicken breasts)
INGREDIENTS FOR HEALTHY AIR FRYER CHICKEN AND VEGGIES
- One cup of fresh or frozen broccoli florets
- One chopped courgette
- Chopped bell pepper, one cup, any colour you like
- 1/2 chopped onion; 2 minced or crushed garlic cloves;
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon each of chilli powder,garlic powder, salt, and pepper
- 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning, or your preferred spice mixture
INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEALTHY AIR FRYER CHICKEN AND VEGGIES
- Set the temperature of the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut the chicken and vegetables into bite-sized pieces and add them to a big mixing bowl.
- Incorporate the seasoning and oil into the bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Place the chicken and vegetables into the preheated air fryer. Cook, shaking halfway through, for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are blackened. You might need to cook them in batches of two or three if your air fryer is small.
Note:
Spices: Use your preferred spice blend in place of the Italian seasoning. Any other blend, like taco, cajun, or lemon pepper, also works rather well! Just make sure that if salt is already present in the blend, it is reduced.
Veggies: You can swap out veggies with your preferred fast-cooking vegetables. Before using an air fryer, let potatoes air fry for ten minutes.
