 Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

1½ cups all-purpose flour (or whole wheat flour)

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

½ tsp cinnamon (optional)

¼ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

¾ cup plain yogurt

⅓ cup honey or sugar

¼ cup olive oil or vegetable oil

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

Fruit

1½ cups apples, peeled and diced

 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease an 8-inch cake pan.

2️⃣ Mix Dry Ingredients

In a bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.

3️⃣ Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl whisk yogurt, honey (or sugar), oil, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.

4️⃣ Combine Batter

Add dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir gently.

Fold in diced apples.

5️⃣ Bake

Pour batter into the prepared pan.

Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

6️⃣ Cool and Serve

Let the cake cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing.

✔ Sprinkle a little cinnamon sugar on top before baking.
