- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 lb deveined shrimp
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1 pack of smoked sausage
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients until the final six to make the marinating sauce.
- Put the prawns in one-third of the sauce and let it marinade for half an hour.
- Mix the cornflour into the leftover sauce and set aside.
- Add oil to a big pan set over medium-high heat, then add the broccoli. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often, or until softened. Take out of the skillet and set it aside.
- Add butter, and fry sausage and shrimp for 2 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp become pink and take on a “c” shape.
- Simmer the remaining sauce for two to three minutes. Toss in the broccoli after adding the remaining ingredients. Serve over noodles or rice, or just as is!
