Honey Glazed Air Fryer Salmon
In just eight minutes, this honey-glazed air fryer salmon is ready, and it’s incredibly delicate and tasty. Ideal nutritious dinner for hectic weeknights!
This salmon cooked in the air fryer is incredibly flavorful, with a delicate and moist interior and a crispy outside that can be achieved with just a few simple ingredients!
Top Tips:
- To guarantee that the salmon cooks at the proper temperature right immediately, preheat your air fryer. Turn it on as you are preparing the honey glaze.
- To guarantee that both sides cook equally, make sure the salmon fillets in the air fryer are not in contact with one another. The amount of food you can cook in batches will depend on the size of your air fryer. Four salmon portions fit into my Ninja Foodi with ease.
- Make sure the salmon fillets have completely defrosted before using them if you are using frozen fish from your freezer. The night before, I take the salmon out of the freezer and leave it in the refrigerator to thaw overnight.
- Gently flake off a piece of salmon with a fork to check if it’s done. The salmon is cooked to perfection if it flakes readily. It is advised to keep the internal temperature of your food probe thermometer between 45 and 50°C (110 and 125F).
- Before serving, give the salmon fillets five minutes to rest.
Variations:
- Add a teaspoon of chilli powder to the honey glaze to make it spicy.
- Apply glazes with distinct flavours. What about a sweet chilli and lime glaze, or perhaps a balsamic garlic glaze?
- Try this dish with other fish, like cod fillets or tuna steaks. The fish needs to be deboned.
