LOBSTER BITES WITH GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
For the Lobster Bites:
-
2 lobster tails (about 6-8 oz each)
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
-
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon lemon juice
-
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional, for extra citrus flavor)
-
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a little heat)
-
Salt, to taste
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Prepare the Lobster:Start by thawing the lobster tails if frozen. Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the lobster shells, and carefully pull the meat out, leaving the tail end intact (you can also remove the shell completely if preferred).
Cut the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
-
Cook the Lobster Bites:Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the lobster pieces to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are opaque and cooked through (do not overcook, as lobster can become tough).
Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt to taste.
Let the sauce simmer for another 1-2 minutes, until fully combined.
-
Combine Lobster and Sauce:Add the cooked lobster bites back into the skillet with the garlic butter sauce. Toss gently to coat the lobster evenly in the sauce. Cook for another minute to ensure everything is well combined and heated through.
-
Serve:Transfer the lobster bites to a serving dish and drizzle with the remaining garlic butter sauce.
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for added color and flavor.
These Lobster Bites with Garlic Butter Sauce are rich, savory, and perfect as an appetizer or main course! Serve them over rice, pasta, or with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
