Parmesan Smashed Potatoes Air Fryer

Air-fried mashed potatoes come out soft and delectable. Add toasted parmesan cheese on top, accompanied with crispy potato skins and soft insides.

Ingredients:

  1. About 27 fingerlings or young potatoes from one bag were used.
  2. 1 tsp of chilli powder
  3. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper or chilli flakes
  4. 1.5 tsp powdered garlic
  5. One teaspoon of salt
  6. Three tablespoons of olive oil
  7. One-half cup Parmesan

Instructions:

  1. Baby potatoes should be cleaned, dried on a towel, and then placed in the 360-degree preheated air fryer basket. Bake for fifteen minutes at 360°.
  2. When the potatoes are soft in the centre, press their tops with a fork so they split. In a small bowl, combine oil, salt, garlic powder, chilli flakes, and chilli powder.
  3. Pour the oil mixture onto the potatoes. Simmer for an additional five minutes. Add shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese on top. Cook until cheese melts, 5 to 10 minutes.

How should cooked potatoes be reheated?

Now that you know how much I detest food waste, these reheat nicely for a second dinner the following day or two. Make sure you let them cool down fully before handling them. After that, pour into a freezer bag and press out all of the air. For up to four days, keep in the refrigerator.
