Pear Cranberry Brie Quesadillas with Hot Honey

Ingredients

For the Quesadillas

4 flour tortillas

150 g Brie cheese, sliced

1 ripe pear, thinly sliced

¼ cup dried cranberries

1 tbsp  or olive oil, for cooking

For the Hot Honey Drizzle

3 tbsp honey

 

¼ tsp chili flakes (adjust to taste)

 

Optional Garnish

 

Fresh thyme or arugula leaves

 

Directions

 

Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly butter or oil one side of a tortilla.

 

Place tortilla in skillet, buttered side down. Layer Brie slices, pear slices, and cranberries evenly. Top with another tortilla, buttered side up.

 

Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip and cook another 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and tortilla is crisp.

 

Remove from skillet and cut into wedges.

 

For the hot honey, gently warm honey in a small saucepan or microwave and stir in chili flakes.

 

Drizzle hot honey over quesadilla wedges and garnish with fresh thyme or arugula if desired. Serve immediately.
