SLIMMING WORLD BBQ: SYN-FREE CHICKEN WRAPS AND MOJITOS

There will be a Slimming World BBQ! We haven’t had a special week yet, but it will probably take longer than a week because a) the weather changes every time I blink and b) it’s too hot to work on blog posts at full speed. We’ll try our best, though!

In the hopes that someone else can solve it, let me first deal with the most important problem in the first world. It takes some work in the system settings every time I want to write on my Mac. I have to make sure that the Caps Lock key is always on. Why? Why doesn’t it turn on as soon as I press it? I know that moving your fingers under words as you read is one level above pressing the Caps Lock key to uppercase letters as you type, but I don’t care. I was too busy wiping ink off my left hand in school to properly type. There is no better word to describe how awful it was to be left-handed in school and have to use real ink.

When we talk about fixing problems, I won’t say anything else except that the DVLA is great at handling issues and has the best employees. Everything I said in my last post is wrong, and I really can’t say enough good things about them. Yes, the problem with the flaky Micra has been fixed, and I’m now ready to go! Thanks, Guardian Angel. Yes, I do. I have more faces than the town clock, and they’re all putting things in their mouths that they shouldn’t.

That’s it for BBQs. To be honest, no one wants to sit there eating a limp piece of lettuce while other people eat more meat than a woman on a football bus. Because of this, there will be a lot of meat recipes, but I will also try to include some veggie dishes. Please wait. Here are some easy drink ideas as well, since it’s summer and we need something cool to keep our hot bodies from collapsing. That gives us a chance to show off our newest brands…

How to make slimming world BBQ chicken wraps, you’ll need

  • Two chicken breasts (the big ones from our Musclefood deal will do!) minced garlic, half a lime’s juice, a teaspoon of fresh lime zest (use the same lime for both the garlic and the zest), and a chopped red chili (don’t add this if you have a sensitive stomach). Let them sit for as long as you can.
  • 4 pieces of bacon from our Musclefood pack, or any bacon with the fat cut off
  • Some pineapple pieces, canned or fresh
  • What is this big-leafed lettuce? We grow ours in the yard, so no one knows.

Grey wood will help your grill get hot.

Put the chicken on to cook and turn it over a few times. Put the bacon and pineapple on the grill about five minutes before you think it’s done.

When everything is done and the chicken’s juices are running clear, put it all together by covering it in cooked bacon with a pineapple ring underneath. Then cover it all in lettuce and stuff it all in your big open mouth.

Now I can’t stress enough that you need to be careful when cooking on a BBQ. Buy a wee meat thermometer for example, or at least ensure everything is cooked through properly. You will lose weight if you’re firing the chocolate laser all night, but it’s not a good way to live.
