AIR FRYER BUTTERNUT SQUASH
For a delicious side dish, try air-frying butternut squash and coating it with cinnamon and honey!
A delicious and sweet butternut squash cooked in an air fryer that has a candy-like flavour that the whole family will enjoy. Made with honey and cinnamon.
Ingredients;
- Peel, seed, and chop one butternut squash into 1-inch pieces.
- two tsp oil
- two tsp honey
- half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- One-fourth teaspoon of high-quality sea salt
- One teaspoon honey, to be drizzled over
Instructions:
- Set the temperature of your air fryer to 400°F.
- In a bowl, combine cubed butternut squash chunks, oil, honey, ground cinnamon, and sea salt.
- Fill the air fryer no more than halfway with the butternut squash mixture, then cook for 14–16 minutes, shaking the basket approximately every 5 minutes, until the squash is cooked.
- Transfer to a serving plate and cover with more honey.
- Savour right away.
NOTES:
The Butternut Squash Air Fryer is done when a fork can easily pierce it.
Directions for reheating: Heat the recipe for three to five minutes at 330 degrees. Once reheated, you might need to add more honey.
