Chicken Tortilla Roll-Ups
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1/2 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of salsa
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
Optional toppings: sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, or grated cheese
Method:
- The shredded chicken, cream cheese, mayonnaise, salsa, chopped cilantro, chilli powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper should be mixed together in a bowl before being added to the dressing. A thorough mixing should be done until all of the components are uniformly distributed.
- Place the flour tortillas or wraps on a surface that has been well cleaned. A thin coating of the chicken mixture should be put out on each tortilla, and a tiny border should be left around the sides. These tortillas should be distributed evenly.
- On top of the chicken mixture, you may choose to add toppings of your choosing, such as sliced black olives, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, or grated cheese, if you so wish.
- Roll the tortillas tightly, beginning with one end and tucking the filling in as you go. Do this starting from the corner. If it is required, toothpicks may be used to secure the ends.
- Prepare bite-sized pinwheels or rounds out of the rolled-up tortillas by slicing them. keep them on a plate and serve them right away, or keep them in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them.
