Ingredients
For the Hot Honey Chicken
2 chicken breasts, sliced or cubed
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & black pepper
1–2 tbsp hot honey (adjust sweetness/spice)
½ tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
For the Orzo
1 cup orzo pasta
2 cups water or broth
Salt to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
Optional: 2 tbsp grated parmesan
For the Grilled Zucchini
1 medium zucchini, sliced into half-moons
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper
½ tsp dried oregano or thyme
Optional Garnish
Fresh parsley
Lemon wedges
Extra hot honey drizzle
Instructions
1. Cook the Orzo
1. Boil orzo in salted water until tender (about 8–10 minutes).
2. Drain and toss with olive oil (and parmesan if using).
2. Prepare the Hot Honey Chicken
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Cook chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked.
4. Drizzle hot honey over chicken and toss to coat for 1–2 minutes.
3. Grill the Zucchini
1. Toss zucchini slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano.
2. Grill or pan-sear 3–4 minutes per side until tender and lightly charred.
4. Assemble the Bowl
Add a serving of orzo as the base.
Top with hot honey chicken and grilled zucchini.
Garnish with parsley, lemon wedges, and extra honey if desired.
Tips
Add roasted cherry tomatoes or bell peppers for more color.
Use spicy chili-infused honey for a stronger kick.
