Vegan Garlic Pull-Apart Rolls

These soft dinner rolls are brushed with garlic-herb vegan butter and baked close together so they tear apart easily. Ideal with pasta, soups, or as a party bread.

Ingredients

Dough

3 cups all-purpose flour

2¼ tsp instant yeast

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

1 cup warm plant milk

3 tbsp olive oil or melted vegan butter

Garlic Butter Topping

4 tbsp vegan butter or olive oil

3 garlic cloves, finely minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Pinch of salt

Instructions

1️⃣ Make Dough

In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt

Add warm plant milk and oil

Knead 8–10 minutes until soft and elastic

2️⃣ First Rise

Place dough in oiled bowl

Cover and let rise 1 hour until doubled

3️⃣ Shape Rolls

Divide dough into 16 small balls

Arrange close together in greased baking dish

4️⃣ Second Rise

Cover and rise 20–30 minutes

5️⃣ Bake

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden

6️⃣ Garlic Finish

Melt vegan butter with garlic and salt

Brush over hot rolls

Sprinkle parsley

Tips

Add oregano or rosemary for Mediterranean flavor

For cheesy taste, sprinkle nutritional yeast on top
