Air Fryer Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms

Air Fryer Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms Butter and Cajun seasoning are used to fry tender filet mignon pieces in an air fryer. This recipe for Air Fryer Cajun Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms is so easy to make and so tasty that you will fall in love with it right away.

My fiancé is also a big lover of the air fryer, which is quickly taking over my kitchen. It is quite useful in our daily lives. preparing breakfast of egg toast, lunch of chicken, and dinner of steak and potatoes. The air fryer is fantastic at frying food with a hint of crispness, so I can eat supper on the table with minimal cleanup. However, I always have to pay attention to what I’m cooking.

Ingredients For Recipe:

  • 1 pound of tenderloin
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1/2 Tony Chachere Creole Spice
  • 3/4 teaspoons of paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoons of ground pepper
  • 3/4teaspoons of onion powder
  • Two cups sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • One tablespoon oil
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons of butter
  • Cajun seasoning

Instructions For Recipe:

  • Mix paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and creole spice; leave aside.
  • Roughly chop the beef tenderloin into 1-by-1-inch chunks.
  • Add the cut mushrooms
  • 2½ tablespoons oil
  • seasoning mix
  • steak bits to a bowl.
  • Mix until the mushrooms and meat are thoroughly covered.
  • For 30 to 1½ hours, marinate the bowl covered.
  • For five minutes, preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Cook for 6 to 10 minutes at 400°F in two batches in the air fryer.

TIP: To prevent steaming, place the beef pieces in a single layer with very little space between them. Steak should have mushrooms all around it. You can sauté the mushrooms separately for 6 minutes at 400°F.

NOTE: 6 minutes imply increased rarity. After ten minutes, medium-well.
Place steak chunks and sautéed mushrooms in a bowl and mix with butter.

  • If desired, add extra salt or creole seasoning.
  • Serve with couscous, roasted carrots, rice, roasted broccoli, noodles, brussels sprouts, or a mixed green salad.

My new obsession is steak bits. Although you can still make them on the stovetop if you don’t have an air fryer, I prefer to make them in the air fryer since I don’t have to worry about the fat temperature or turning the meat over to brown the other side. Cooking these steak bits is quite quick. They actually bake up in a matter of minutes.
