Air Fryer Green Beans with Garlic

 

These tasty Chinese-style Air-Fryer Green Beans are really simple and quick to prepare! These Asian Green Beans are the ideal low-carb, vegan side dish since they are seasoned with garlic, ginger, and tasty sauces.

Ingredients:

  1. 8 ounces of green beans with cut ends
    Seasoning
  2. Half a tablespoon of olive oil or sesame oil
  3. 1 teaspoon soy sauce (gluten-free version use Tamari)
  4. 3/4 teaspoon rice vinegar
  5. 1 clove freshly minced garlic
  6. 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  7. 1/2 tsp freshly grated ginger
  8. 1/4 tsp black pepper
  9. optional garnishes: sesame seeds
  10. optional crushed red pepper flakes

 

 

Directions:

  1. Clean the green beans and cut off any tough ends. Dab them dry.
  2. Combine all the seasoning ingredients in a large basin and thoroughly combine. Include the green beans. Make sure to give them a good toss so that the spice coats them all.
  3. Place the seasoned green beans into the basket of the air fryer. To distribute the green beans, shake the basket. Aim for 380°F with the air fryer.
  4. For the ideal texture, air fried for 6 to 8 minutes. In midway, give the basket a shake. (There is no need to preheat. Preheating time is included in the cooking time
  5. Present and savour the green beans. Add a scattering of sesame seeds if desired.

 

Tips for using an air fryer to cook green beans:

  • Avoid packing the air fryer basket too full. The green beans should ideally be distributed in a single layer. Cook, if necessary, in batches.
  • After cooking, serve immediately for the best texture!

    Additional alternatives for seasoning:

  • Add a little balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the green beans.
  • If you prefer a hotter flavour, try adding more ingredients such red chilli flakes, paprika, ground cumin, or onion powder.
  • Give your roasted green beans an Indian twist by adding ground cumin, turmeric, and some garam masala.
