AIR FRYER MUSHROOMS AND BROCCOLI

AIR FRYER MUSHROOMS AND BROCCOLI

Air fryer mushrooms and broccoli that have been caramelised, tender, and crispy are the ideal accompaniment to steaks, poultry, or lamb chops. Cooking this meal in the air fryer takes only a few minutes.

Ingredients:

  1. two cups florets of broccoli
  2. Two cups of bella mushrooms, cut into thirds or halves
    Season in isolation
  3. To taste, add salt and pepper.
  4. Apply your preferred seasoning. I used all-purpose seasoning (also known as Italian seasoning), garlic powder, onion powder, and mushroom powder.
  5. Two tablespoons of olive oil (or your preferred vegetable oil)

Directions:

  1. For five minutes, preheat the air fryer to 390F/190C.
  2. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil to the broccoli and mushrooms and toss.
  3. Now arrange the seasoned vegetables on the tray, leaving some room between them. Avoid overlapping them.
  4. For ten minutes, air fried the vegetables.
After five minutes, flip. Using kitchen tongs, flip them over.
  5. Both vegetables can be combined at the same time, just make sure there’s room for hot air to flow between them and that they don’t overlap.
  6. Cook the vegetables in batches if you have more of them.

CAN I OVEN-ROAST BROCCOLI AND MUSHROOMS?

Absolutely! It may take some extra time to cook. For the oven, you will have different temperatures and timings. Preheat the oven to 400F/200C, and line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Toss broccoli and mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Put the mixture on the baking sheet.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and browned.

HOW TO STORE THE LEFTOVER MUSHROOMS AND BROCCOLI?

Store leftover roasted mushrooms and broccoli in an air-tight container. You can also pack them in the zip lock bag and store them in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
