Air Fryer Shrimp Recipe

One of my favourite evening dinner options is prawns, and air-frying them is one of my fave methods! These breadless Air Fryer Shrimp are excellent in bowls, salads or as a main dish accompanied by vegetables. They take less than ten minutes to prepare. Try the Air Fryer Salmon Sandwich, Cajun Shrimp Dinner and Shrimp Egg Rolls for other asimple air fryer dishes.

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 lb shrimp
  2. 2 teaspoons olive oil
  3. ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  4. ¼ teaspoon paprika
  5. ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  6. ½ teaspoon salt
  7. ¼ teaspoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. Shell and vein the prawns to make them clean. After running under the faucet, blot dry with a paper towel.
In a small bowl, combine oil and spices.

2. Apply the seasoning mixture on both sides of the prawns.
3. Put prawns in a single layer in the air fryer basket or rack.
4-Cook for 8 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit without turning them.

Appetisers for Air Fryer Shrimp

Tacos: Top the shrimp with a creamy lime sauce, cilantro and corn tortillas. Even Latin seasonings like cumin and chilli powder may be used to season the prawns. Or create lettuce wraps to cut down on carbohydrates.
Bowls: Stuff quinoa or rice with your preferred vegetables and top with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
Salads: To add more protein, add air-fried prawns to any salad.
Principal Course: You may serve the prawns with carrots, butternut squash, roasted broccoli rabe or any other side dish.
Tostadas: Arrange refried beans, salsa, guacamole and shrimp on a tostada shell.
Place the prawns between two slices of bread, then top with tartar sauce and butter lettuce.
