Broccoli Apple Salad Recipe
This salad is a tribute to autumn picnics, where the crisp air and colorful leaves make every bite taste better.

Ingredients:
4 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
2 medium apples, thinly sliced (preferably Gala or Honeycrisp)
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup pecans, roughly chopped
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. prepare the salad base
In a large mixing bowl, combine broccoli florets, apple slices, shredded carrots, dried cranberries, pecans, and sunflower seeds.
2. make the dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth and well combined.
3. toss the salad
Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients and gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
4. chill and serve
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Serve cold.
