Cheese bread with cumin

1 tablespoon baking powder

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup milk

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter

1 egg

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, and ground cumin.

Stir in the grated cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil or melted butter, and egg.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and spread it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Slice and serve the cumin cheese bread warm or at room temperature.
