8 ounces, or 2 cups, of spaghetti or your favorite kind of pasta

8 pieces of chopped bacon

1 pound of fresh asparagus, with the tough tips cut off and the stalks broken up into small pieces

1 cup of heavy cream

1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated

1/4 cup vegetable or chicken broth

2 sticks of butter

Instructions for Creamy Pasta with Asparagus & Bacon

First, Prepare the Pasta:

a. Put a big saucepan of salted water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Cook the pasta until it reaches the desired firmness, following the directions on the package. Drain, then put to the side.
