  1. 1 large ripe avocado
  2. 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  3. Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  4. 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, diced
  5. 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  6. 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  7. 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch slices
  8. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  9. 1 garlic clove, peeled and halved
  10. Balsamic glaze (optional)
  11. Crumbled cheese on top ( Optional)

Instructions :

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mash the avocado with a fork until smooth. Add the fresh lemon juice, salt, and black pepper, and mix well.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine the diced cherry tomatoes, red onion, and fresh basil.
  4. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice with olive oil.
