Ingredients

For the Shrimp

300–350g shrimp, cleaned & deveined

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lime juice

1 tsp lime zest

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tbsp chopped cilantro

½ tsp paprika (optional, mild)

Salt & pepper to taste

For the Creamy Slaw

1 cup shredded cabbage (purple or green)

¼ cup shredded carrots

2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt (or mayo)

1 tsp lime juice

1 tsp honey

1 tbsp chopped cilantro

Salt & pepper to taste

For Serving

4–6 small tortillas (corn or flour)

Lime wedges

Extra cilantro

Optional: sliced avocado

Instructions

1. Marinate the Shrimp

1. In a bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper, and mild paprika.

2. Mix well and let marinate for 10 minutes (even 5 minutes works).

2. Make the Creamy Slaw

1. In a bowl, add shredded cabbage, carrots, yogurt, lime juice, honey, cilantro, salt, and pepper.

2. Toss until creamy and coated.

3. Taste and adjust (more honey for sweetness, more lime for tang).

3. Cook the Shrimp

1. Heat a pan with a little oil.

2. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly golden.

3. Do not overcook — they cook fast!

4. Warm the Tortillas 

Heat tortillas on a dry pan for 10–15 seconds each side
