Salmon And Shrimp Alfredo Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  2. 8 ounces salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  3. 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  4. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  5. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 cup heavy cream
  7. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  8. Salt and black pepper to taste
  9. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  10. Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:Heat a big saucepan of salted water till it boils.Pasta al dente should be cooked as directed on the package for fettuccine. After draining, set away.
  2. Get the seafood ready:
  • One tablespoon of olive oil should be heated over medium-high heat in a big pan.
  • When the salmon pieces are cooked through and have a light brown colour, add them to the skillet and cook for two to three minutes on each side. After taking the salmon out of the pan, set it aside.
  • Add the last tablespoon of olive oil to the same skillet.
    When the prawns are opaque and pink, add them to the skillet and cook for two to three minutes on each side. After taking the prawns out of the pan, set it aside.

3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:

  • Add the minced garlic to the same pan and sauté for one to two minutes, or until fragrant.
  • While constantly stirring, lower the heat to medium-low and add the heavy cream.
  • When the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy, add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet and stir.
  • Add salt and black pepper to taste when preparing the Alfredo sauce.

4. Combine Everything:

  • Back in the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, add the cooked salmon and prawns.
  • When the fettuccine pasta is cooked, add it to the skillet and thoroughly mix everything.
  • Cook the pasta for a further two to three minutes, or until it is well warm.

5. Serve:

  • Using serving dishes, divide the Alfredo with Salmon and Shrimp.
  • If preferred, serve with lemon wedges on the side and garnish with finely chopped fresh parsley.
