 Ingredients

500 g beef sirloin or beef strips

 Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Jasmine Rice

4. Turn off heat and rest covered for 5 minutes

5. Remove bay leaf and fluff with a fork.

Step 2: Prepare the Beef

1. Pat beef dry and season with salt and black pepper.

2. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a wide pan over medium-high heat.

3. Add beef in a single layer—do not overcrowd.

4. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.

5. Remove beef from pan and set aside.

Step 3: Make Garlic Butter Sauce

1. Reduce heat to medium.

2. Add remaining 1 tbsp butter to the same pan.
