1 lb (450 g) boneless chicken breasts or thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp cumin

Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the wraps:

4 pita breads or flatbreads

1 cup cucumber, diced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ small red onion, thinly sliced

½ cup feta cheese, crumbled

½ cup kalamata olives, pitted & sliced

Fresh lettuce or spinach leaves

For the sauce:

1 cup Greek yogurt

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 clove garlic, finely grated

1 tbsp fresh dill or parsley, chopped

Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.

Coat chicken, cover, and marinate at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).

Cook the Chicken

Grill or pan-sear chicken over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side (until cooked through, 165°F/74°C internal temp).

Rest 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

Make the Sauce

Stir together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, dill/parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Assemble the Wraps

Warm pitas. Spread a spoonful of yogurt sauce inside each.

Add lettuce, chicken strips, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, olives, and feta.

Drizzle with extra sauce. Fold or roll into a wrap.

Notes & Tips

For extra flavor: char pitas lightly on a skillet before filling.

Meal prep: store cooked chicken, veggies, and sauce separately; assemble just before eating.

Add hummus for creaminess or a spicy kick with harissa or chili flakes.

Swap chicken with grilled lamb, beef, or falafel for variety.

Yes, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20–22 minutes until cooked through.

Q: What’s the best wrap option?
Authentic Greek pitas (soft & thick) work best, but tortillas or naan can be used.

Q: Can I make it dairy-free?
Yes — use a plant-based yogurt for the sauce and skip the feta.
