    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  7. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  8. ½ cup wine, red
  9. 2 diced Roma tomatoes
  10. an 8-ounce can of tomato sauce
  11. 2 cups macaroni or cavatappi noodles

Directions:

  1. In a big pot or Dutch oven, warm the olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Cook the meat, onion, and garlic until they are tender.
  3. Remove any excess oil from the beef.
  4. Cook for 3–4 minutes after adding the ground cloves, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper.

  9. Serve after adding the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
