Veggies Alfredo Pizza

Ingredients:

For the base:

1 store-bought or homemade pizza dough

For the Alfredo sauce:

2 tbsp

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1½ cups milk (or half & half)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cloves garlic (minced)

Salt & pepper to taste

Veggie toppings (choose your favorites):

Red onion (thinly sliced)

Bell peppers (sliced)

Mushrooms (sliced)

Spinach

Cherry tomatoes (halved)

Broccoli florets (lightly steamed)

Black olives (optional)

Cheese:

1½–2 cups shredded mozzarella

Extra Parmesan (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.

Make Alfredo sauce:L

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute to make a roux.

Slowly whisk in milk, stirring constantly until smooth.

Add garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened (about 3–5 mins). Set aside.

Prepare the pizza:

Roll out your dough onto a floured surface or pizza pan.

Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the base.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously over the sauce.

Top with your choice of veggies.

Bake:

Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

If you like a crispier crust, broil for the last 1–2 minutes.

Finish:

Let rest for a few minutes after baking.

Optionally top with fresh basil, crushed red pepper, or a drizzle of olive oil
