AIR FRYER CINNAMON ROLLS
Ingredients:
- One-third cup milk
- two tablespoons water
- two tablespoons salted butter
- A large egg
- two tablespoons of granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoons of active dry yeast
- one ½ cup of all-purpose flour
Filling:
- ½ Tablespoon softened unsalted butter
- ½ Tablespoon cinnamon
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
Icing:
- One ounce softened cream cheese
- one tablespoon softened salted butter
- one-third cup heavy whipped cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup sugar powder
Guidelines:
- Put the butter, milk, and water in a big microwave-safe bowl. Warm the ingredients and melt the butter in the microwave.
- Add the egg, yeast, sugar, and flour.
- Stir the dough by hand or with a stand mixer until it achieves a homogeneous texture.
- For two to three minutes, keep using your hands to knead the dough on a floured surface.
- Transfer the dough ball to a bowl greased with nonstick cooking spray. Give it a loose cover and give it a good fifteen minutes to rest.
- When finished, roll out the dough to a size of roughly 8 by 10 inches on a floured surface.
- Cover the top of the rolled-out dough with an even layer of softened butter to make the filling.
- Over the butter layer, scatter cinnamon and light brown sugar.
- Starting with the short side of the dough, tightly roll it.
- Slice the roll into six pieces, then place the pieces in a pan that fits within your air fryer’s basket. Ensure that you have sprayed nonstick cooking spray on the pan.
- Tightly cover the pan with plastic wrap.
- Let the rolls rise for 60 to 75 minutes, or until they have doubled in size, in a warm place.
- After the rolls are prepared, set your air fryer to 320 degrees Fahrenheit. After taking off the baking pan’s plastic wrap, put it in the air fryer’s basket.
- The rolls should bake to a light golden colour. (about eight to nine minutes.) Because many types and brands of air fryers exist, it’s crucial to pay attention to the rolls. While some air fryers bake food quickly, others may take longer.
- While rolls are baking, prepare icing. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and beat until smooth.
- Drizzle icing over warm rolls and serve.
Notes:
- Before you put the rolls in the air fryer, make sure it is preheated.
- These must rise for a minimum of sixty minutes.
- Use some of the items I suggested above to add something to the centre of your rolls.
- If cream cheese frosting isn’t your thing, try making a milk glaze with powdered sugar instead.
- You can freeze these, as you can see above.
