AIR FRYER JAM PUFFS

AIR FRYER JAM PUFFS

Similar to a handmade air fryer toaster strudel are air fryer jam puffs. Jam is stuffed into puff pastry, which is then air-fried. Add a flavorful glaze on top, then dig in! This is a deliciously simple dessert to make in the air fryer.

Ingredients:

  1. One sheet of thawed puff pastry
  2. Six tsp raspberry jam
  3. One egg

Directions:

  1. As directed on the package, thaw the puff pastry, then carefully unfold it until the sheet is flat. Divide puff pastry into six equal pieces.
  2. Place two tsp jam in the middle of three rectangles made of puff pastry. To aid in sealing, dab a little water over the borders. Place one of the halves without jam on top of each rectangle that contains jam. Once the puff pastry pockets are sealed, press the edges together and use a fork to crimp them shut. Make two or three cuts in the puff pastry’s top to let air out.
  3. Once the puff pastry pockets are sealed, press the edges together and use a fork to crimp them shut. Make two or three cuts in the puff pastry’s top to let air out.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and brush it over the puff pastry tops.
  5. Put in the air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Transfer to a plate and serve as desired.

Optional:

In a bowl, combine powdered sugar and a small amount of milk or water to make a glaze. Once you have the ideal texture, adjust the measurements as needed.

Notes;

  • Although it’s not necessary, dusting the top of the dough with egg aids in the gorgeous browning of the puff pastry.
  • How about six jam puffs? Instead, just thaw out two sheets of parchment paper.
  • Try your best to seal the pastry, however in the air fryer, it can separate. It tastes just as good!
  • It will be heated inside! Eat with caution and allow it cool slightly to avoid eating too much hot jam.
