AIR FRYER BAKED OATMEAL
An AIR FRYER BAKED OATMEAL amazing and delectable twist on conventional muesli is air fryer baked muesli. It’s made with oats, apple sauce, and blueberries, and I adore how the outside gets crispy and the middle stays chewy and soft. It is a quick and easy breakfast that can be taken on the move when cut into perfectly portioned bars or squares.

INGREDIENTS FOR AIR FRYER BAKED OATMEAL:
- One cup of muesli, rolled. I used ½ cup of apple sauce and organic rolled oats with ancient grains and seeds. Unsweetened was what I used.
- One tablespoon of sugar or your preferred sweetener I found a sweetener that is keto-friendly in Golden Monk fruit.
- One huge egg
- Half a teaspoon each of vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder
- One teaspoon of cinnamon
- ½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries
- Optional Mix-ins: berries nuts, chocolate chips, etc.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AIR FRYER BAKED OATMEAL:
- Mix all the ingredients together in a big bowl. Dry and wet materials don’t need to be combined separately.
- Simply stir until thoroughly blended.
- Now is the time to add any mix-ins, if using. I included a quarter of a cup of fresh blueberries.
- Transfer the mixture to an air fryer-safe pan by greasing it. I used parchment paper to line a 9-inch pan.
- Evenly and into the pan’s corners, press the mixture. Its thickness should be between ½ and ¾ of an inch.
- Set your air fryer (also known as the air crisp setting) to 350°F for five minutes. After that, bake the muesli mixture for 10 to 13 minutes, or until the centre is set and the borders are golden brown.
- Chill the muesli for five minutes, then proceed to chop and serve. There are 9 muesli squares in this recipe.
NOTES:
- Select the “air fry” or “air crisp” option. I adore how baking muesli bars on the air fry setting speeds up cooking and gives them a little crunch on the outside. If you’re using the bake setting, bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
- To prevent your bars from adhering to the air fryer basket, line the interior with parchment paper or a silicone baking dish.
- To give your bars more taste and texture, feel free to experiment with other mix-ins and toppings, such as chocolate chips, almonds, or fruits. For an extra crunch, I adore adding graham cracker crumbs or coconut flakes.
- Instead of using apple sauce, you can use two ripe mashed bananas.
- If preferred, top with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.
NOTES & VARIATIONS for BAKED OATMEAL BARS in an air fryer:
- Before you begin baking, make sure your air fryer has heated up. This will guarantee that your bars cook through and on both sides.
