- ½ cup bbq sauce
Instructions for Air fryer bbq chicken wing
Spice up the chicken wings.
- In case you didn’t purchase the wings already divided into portions, cut the wings into drumettes, wingettes, and tips. Throw away the tips.
- Dry off the chicken with a paper towel. Drizzle the wings with oil, then season with salt, black pepper, garlic, and baking powder. To mix, toss.
- Place the seasoned wings in the basket of an air fryer. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (20°C) and cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Don’t forget to turn the wings or shake the basket halfway during the cooking period. A minimum internal temperature of 165°F, or 74°C, is required for food to be deemed thoroughly cooked and fit for consumption.
Add some sauce.
- After the wings are cooked, transfer them to a fresh dish, pour the barbecue sauce over them, and toss again to cover every wing. Immediately serve if you like juicy wings.
- Return the wings to the air fryer at 400°F / 200°C for a minute or two, and then serve if you like drier, stickier wings. To prevent the BBQ glaze from burning, keep a watch on it.
